Why we exist

Several commerce businesses we worked with were each building the same things in parallel: shop integrations, inventory dashboards, payment middleware. Same problems, duplicate costs, and no single owner of the technology. When a developer left, the knowledge left with them.

Black Swan Global was founded to consolidate that function. We develop the software once, operate it centrally, and deliver it to multiple clients under clear service agreements. External developers are contracted centrally through us, so responsibility for the code sits in one place.

The result is an engineering partner with skin in the game: we don't hand over projects, we run them. If an integration breaks at 2 a.m., it pages us, not our client.

Who runs it

Black Swan Global keeps its structure deliberately simple: a compact team of developers under central contracts, with senior engineers setting the architecture and reviewing everything that ships. Client engagements are handled directly, not passed through account managers.

The team stays small on purpose. The developers work fast, senior review keeps that speed production-grade, and there is no project-manager relay in between: the people who design your system are the people who build and run it.

In practice that means decisions in hours instead of weeks, and delivery that is fast without getting fragile.

AI, used deliberately

We work AI-first on both sides of the code. Our engineers build with AI, which is part of why a small team ships at this pace, and we build AI into what we deliver: classification, monitoring, document handling and analysis running inside our clients' systems.

We think the next decade of commerce belongs to companies that treat AI as infrastructure. Our role is to keep our clients in that group, year after year.
